  • Awaiting Verification A Certificate of Placement prepared by a Wyoming licensed Professional Land Surveyor is required for each structure. The location of the structure foundation shall be prepared by the Professional Land Surveyor and submitted to the Teton County Planning & Building Services Department prior to the foundation walls being poured. A foundation wall inspection cannot be scheduled until receipt of certificate showing the location of the foundation matches the approved plans and is approved by the Planning Department.
  • Awaiting Verification All exterior lighting shall comply with the Exterior Lighting Standards of Section 5.3.1, Land Development Regulations. Lighting shall be installed per the approved plans. Should the exterior lighting change in any way, the applicant shall submit revisions including spec sheets to the Planning Department for review and approval, prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy or prior to final inspection of the permitted work. Changes to lighting that require review include fixture design, location of fixtures, the number of fixtures, and lumen amount.   • Awaiting Verification Approved bear resistant trash containers are required per Section 5.1.3, Wild Animal Feeding, Land Development Regulations. At construction sites, all trash receptacles for trash that includes food, food wrappers, or other bear attractants shall be bear-resistant. Containers shall be kept closed and latched at all times. Non-bear-resistant dumpsters or trailers may only be used to store construction trash that does not contain bear-attractants.
  • Awaiting Verification All fencing on site shall comply with Sec. 5.1.2. Wildlife Friendly Fencing, of the Land Development Regulations, which restricts fence height to 38 inches above ground unless containing livestock, which allows 42 inches. The bottom rail shall be no less than 18 inches above the ground. Spacing between the top rail/wire and adjacent rail/wire shall be at least 12 inches. Buck & rail fencing is prohibited. Fencing shall not be?located?within natural resource buffers.?(Fencing constructed as a requirement of an approved habitat mitigation plan for protection of sensitive habitat areas which are temporary until establishment does not require a special purpose fencing exemption).
  • Any changes to the design, including the structure or site development, require a plan revision. Please submit to the Building Division a Letter of Transmittal for Building Permit Revision with appropriate revised drawings. Fees will be assessed for additional square footages, plumbing, mechanical or electrical work, including additional plan review fees. Revisions to Grading and Septic may also be applicable.
  • Prior to certificate of occupancy the enforcement case(ENF2026-0002) regarding fencing located in natural resource setbacks shall be remedied either through removal of non-compliant fencing or relief from the LDRs (see surety under BDR2025-0065/0066)
  • BUP2025-0005 for the temporary shelter will expire on March 26, 2026 unless this building permit is issued, whereas then the applicant can request in writing (email to planning staff) to have the Planning Director extend the expiration for 2 additional years. Temporary shelter shall be removed from the site within 30 days from building permit expiration date or certificate of occupancy.
  • Awaiting Verification Temporary development impacts shall be reclaimed with a natural vegetative cover type of equal or higher value upon completion of construction.
  • Prior to the start of construction, stream and wetland setbacks shall be well delineated by flagging or fencing and not disturbed during construction, except for the removal of non-conforming structures and reclamation of the associated temporary disturbances, whereas limits of disturbance shall be well delineated with silt fencing where there is encroachment into the buffer. Parking and storage of construction materials in natural resource buffers is prohibited in all circumstances.
  • Reclamation and mitigation shall be completed in accordance with the plan dated July 30, 2025, prepared by Alder Environmental. If the temporary disturbances adjacent to the barn(s) are not successfully reclaimed, additional mitigation may be required. An inspection shall occur prior to Certificate of Occupancy of BDR2026-0021, and if determined necessary, a financial assurance may be collected at that time for continued monitoring.

  • Disturbance of naturally occurring slopes over 30% is prohibited. These slopes shall be well delineated and kept clear of any construction-related disturbances including parking & storage of materials. Manmade slopes may be disturbed as approved by the County Engineer.
